Bank of India (BoI) has submitted its Reconciliation of Share Capital Audit Report for the quarter ended June 30, 2024, to the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) and BSE Ltd. (BSE). The report, prepared by Pradeep Purwar & Associates, a practicing Company Secretary firm, certifies that BoI and its Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, Bigshare Services Private Limited, have complied with all requirements under SEBI (Depositories and Participants) Regulations, 2018.
The report provides a detailed breakdown of the bank's issued capital, listed capital, and shares held in dematerialized and physical forms. As of June 30, 2024, the total issued capital of BoI stood at 4,55,38,44,966 shares, of which 4,55,26,67,866 shares were listed on the stock exchanges. The majority of the shares (77.45%) were held in dematerialized form with CDSL, while 22.24% were held with NSDL.
The report also highlights that the bank had forfeited 11,85,300 equity shares on March 29, 2003, out of which 8,200 shares were reinstated till June 30, 2024.
