Arvind Limited has released a corrigendum to its AGM notice dated July 3, 2024, which originally convened the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 1, 2024. The corrigendum was issued to modify item No. 4 of the AGM notice, specifically addressing the tenure of an Independent Director.
The revised notice now states that the Independent Director, Mr. Nagesh Pinge (DIN: 00062900), will hold office for a term of four consecutive years, ending on June 20, 2028, instead of the previously mentioned five years. The end date of the term has been changed from June 20, 2029, to June 20, 2028.
Apart from this change, all other items in the AGM notice and explanatory statement remain unaltered. The corrigendum has been emailed to shareholders and published in the Financial Express (English & Gujarati). It is also available on the websites of the BSE, NSE, and the company itself.
This modification is in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, along with relevant circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and SEBI.
Shareholders are advised to take note of this change and refer to the revised AGM notice for accurate information. The AGM will proceed as scheduled on August 1, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. IST through video conferencing or other audio-visual means.
