Yash Tonk is an Indian television and film actor. He was born on the 30th of October 1971 in Sonipat, Haryana, India. His real name is Yashpal Tonk. His hometown is Hisar, Haryana, India. Information about his parents is not known in the media, though his father is a Chief Security officer in Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar. He completed his schooling at Campus School, Hisar, Haryana. Later he attended Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi, New Delhi India from where he earned his graduate degree.
In 1996 he began his acting career in the Indian entertainment industry. He has done a lot of performances in several, television series and shows such as Kundali, Saara Akaash, Just Mohabbat, Jaat Ki Jugni, Pavitra Bandhan, Kesar, Kaho Na Yaar Hai, Karan Apnaa Apnaa, in Kassauti Zindagi Kay as Debo, as Dadda Chalukya in Sobha Somnath Ki, in Nach Baliye as himself, Tere Liye, etc. Apart from television, he has also worked in several films. In 1999 he made his first film debut with a special appearance in an Indian psychological action horror thriller film Sangharsh, his second film was Kuch to hair in which he starred as Yash. Later on, he made his appearance in many films such as Jai Ho, Kisse Pyaar Karodon, Fight Club, Ishq Vishk, Juile, and more.
He is married. Yash married Gauri Yadav. Gauri is also an Indian television actress. The couple was blessed with two daughters. Their names are Pari Tonk and Mayrah Tonk
