Check out this article for available answers. Vikram Chandra was born on 7th January 1967, in New Delhi, India (aged 50 years). Chandra works for NDTV as consulting editor. From October 2011 to October 2016, he was the CEO of NDTV Group. Also is in the list of Top Most Popular Journalist in India Today. When Vikram covered the news of Kashmir Conflict, his reputation was more built up, was also the Former Anchor for the Nine O’Clock news, currently hosting shows like Gadget Guru and is also an Anchor of The Big Fight. Vikram’s mother Nandini Chandra was also a Journalist who worked for The Hindustan Times. Also is an excellent student of The Doon School, where he worked as the editor of The Doon School Weekly. Did his Secondary Education in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. Gained his scholarship to study at Oxford on an Inlaks Scholarship. From Stanford University, he studied Mass Media which was a Three- month course. The name of his Spouse is Seema Chandra. Began his career in 1991 in television Journalism under a TV news Magzine named as Newstarck. Also associated with New Delhi Television Limited since 1994. During his career, he worked as prime time Nine O’clock and Gadget Guru anchor with his companion Rajiv Makhni, where they reviewed about new technologies. Very well known for his Award-winning anchor position on The Big Fight, which was rated as one of the most top rated talk and current affairs show. Before NDTV Profit launch, Chandra was appointed as the head. NDTV PROFIT is India’s Top business channel in the English language. Was also named to the post of a CEO of NDTV Network in 2007 and became the CEO of NDTV Group a member of the NDTV Board. The thriller “THE SRINAGAR CONSPIRACY” was his first fiction work, which was published in the year 2000 and also became a best seller. The backdrop of his book was for its combination of setting the action in Kashmir. As a budding reporter, Chandra was given the task to report the Kashmir war and conflict. He was also successful in getting exclusive footage of the army camps at the Saltoro heights in Siachen. He also reported the famous Kargil war in 1999. As an anchor he interviewed various persons like Abdullah of Saudi Arabia in 2006, Bill Gates in 2012, Shimon Perse and Rupert Murdoch and Tim Cook, CEO of Apple in 2016 in his show The Big Fight. Vikram received the designation of “GLOBAL LEADER OF TOMORROW” from the World Economic Forum in Davos. He was also been elected as a “Young Global Leader”. He won The Hero Honda Indian Television Academy Award for the Best Anchor For a Talk Show for The Big Fight for 2 years ( 2005 & 2008) and also received Teacher’s Achievement Award for Communication.
