Vijaypal Singh Tomar is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Agriculturist, Advocate, Social Worker, and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), the upper house of the Indian Parliament from the state of Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 10 September 1951 (age 70 years according to 2021) in Bhagwanpur, Distt. Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). His father’s name is Late Shri Indraj Singh and his mother’s name is Shrimati Kamla. His educational qualification is B.Sc., LL.B. educated at Meerut College, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Mithilesh on 26 February 1971 and has three children two sons and one daughter.
Vijaypal Singh Tomar started his political career as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was first elected to the Member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly with which he was made a member of Standing Committee, Transport, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, member of Standing Committee, Labour, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, member of Standing Committee, Revenue, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. In 2018, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha from the state of Uttar Pradesh. Currently, he is serving as a member of the Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers, a member of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, and a member of the Committee on Labour, Textiles and Skill Development.
