In her family, she has a father, mother, and two sisters. Her father name is Vidyut Desai and her mother name is Priti Desai. Her two sisters are Jaituni and Haryali Desai. She is grandniece of the filmmaker Manmohan Desai. After graduation, she went off to participate in the Miss India contest in which she was the third runner-up and went on to win Miss India International.
The following year she went to Tokyo to participate in the Miss International contest, however, she could not win because of her conjunctivitis. But this did not dishearten her as she now focused her attention to TV commercials and advertisement. Her other movies were Tukkaa fit and Solid Patels which were released in the year 2012 and 2015 respectively.
