Uday Pratap Singh is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Agriculturist, Social Worker, and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Hoshangabad (Madhya Pradesh) Constituency. He was born on 09 Jun 1964 (age 57 years according to 2021) in Lolri, Distt. Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh), India. His father’s name is Shri Laxmi Narayan Singh and his mother’s name is Smt. Hemlata Devi. His educational qualification is Bachelor of commerce from Sagar University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He married Smt. Manju Rao on 26 Jan 1991 and has two sons.
Uday Pratap Singh started his political career as a Chairman of Janpad Samiti from 1994 – 2000. After that, he was appointed to the Member of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly as a candidate of the Indian National Congress. Later he joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and was first elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from the Hoshangabad constituency and re-elected to the 16th Lok Sabha (2nd term), 17th Lok Sabha (3rd term) from the same constituency. Currently, he is serving as a member of the Committee on Public Undertakings, a member of the Standing Committee on Chemicals & Fertilisers, a member of the Joint Committee on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019, and a member of Consultative Committee, Ministry of Railways. He is also part of social and cultural activities as he is running a school affiliated to C.B.S.E. in rural areas where village children get education and work among the poor and deprived sections.
