Tokheho Yepthomi is an Indian politician from Nagaland. He was born on April 1, 1956 (age 65 years), in Aghunato, India. He is a Member of the Lok Sabha since 2018. His father’s name is Shri Xukhuvi Yepthomi and his mother’s name is Smt. Khuboli Yepthomi. He married Smt. Ruth Tokheho.
Tokheho successfully contested the lone Lok Sabha seat for Nagaland in the year 2018 bye-election. He was a Minister of Public Health & Engineering, Govt. of Nagaland in 1998. He was a Minister of Public Works Department, Govt. of Nagaland in 2004. He has a Leader of Opposition, Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 2008-2013. He was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha in a bye-election in 2014. He has been a Minister of Public Health & Engineering, Govt. of Nagaland from 2015-2018. He is a Member of Parliament for Nagaland representing the DIMAPUR-III constituency, He has also served as a cabinet minister for Transport and Communication, Public Health Engineering Department, and Public Works Department from 1995 to 2008 under former Chief Ministers S C Jamir and Neiphiu Rio.
