Teena Singh is an Indian actor who belongs to a conservative family, born on 10 April in Ludhiana, Punjab. Teena was sent to the boarding school when she was just 8 years old, till she completed her schooling, she studied in reputed boardings in Ambala, Shimla, Dalhousie.
Teena's parents never allowed her for short hairs but when she was in boarding she asked one of her friends to cut her hairs. After completing her studies, Teena went to Delhi and started working as a PR for an event management company. During her job, she got a chance to go to Goa for two months for a Yoga Retreat. She loved the environment of Goa and stayed back, she took a job of the bartender there and left Delhi. After living for more than a year, Teena decided with her friends to move to Mumbai.
Teena never planned to enter in the entertainment business, as soon as when Teena reached Mumbai, she started getting calls for TV ads and print shoots but at the first time, Teena refused all those offers, but when she repeatedly called, she thought of giving it a shot. During her struggle period, she gets rejected many times as her dusky skin face and short hair. After doing some ads Teena grew up an interest in modelling and she continued doing it and comes into the noticed of people.
Teena’s first advertisement was for Vaseline. After that Teena seen in many advertisements like Asian Paints, Lakme, Samsung Tata Safari, Tata Docomo, Pepper Fry etc. In 2015, she received a call for the audition role as a tattoo artist in the movie “Fitoor” as per her boy cut hair she was selected for that role. In 2017, she became the face of Nescafe, her ad for Nescafe made her overnight sensation. In 2018, she is honoured by the award of “Young Achiever of the year” by young Environmentalists Programmer Trust. She has been done over 100 ads in 5 years career in the TV and as well as in the Film industry.
