Soumya Swaminathan is a clinical scientist and an Indian pediatrician. She is famous for her research on disease named tuberculosis. She was born in Chennai, India on 2nd May 1959. She is the daughter of M.S Swaminathan (Indian Father of Green Revolution) and Mina Swaminathan (Indian Educationalist).
