Pant took birth on 14th September 1981 and now married to writer Ila Bagchi. They both have a daughter and a son. Sorabh started his career as a TV writer. Pant met Vir Das in 2008 and they both did a show on CNBC-TV titled 'News on The Loose'. Sorabh got recognition when he started as the opening act for Vir Das's show titled 'Walking on Broken Das' in 2008.
