Soma Laishram was born on January 5, 1992. By profession, she is a singer and Indian film actress. Soma went to Little Flowers School and Temple of Learning, Imphal for her schooling, and later completed her Bachelor of Arts from CMJ University.
Soma appeared in drama, anchored as program presenter and teleplays in DDK Imphal. She made her debut with her first music video album was Hey Girl alongside Mahesh Thounaojam and later she was seen in her first film Phijang Marumda, where she is playing an MBBS student.
After this, she has done several Meitei films. She is also the brand ambassador of Kaizen Sports.
A solo music album Angaoba Malang was also released where she sang in her voice and acted. In 2017, she has been a part of a big project like- Meitei-Portuguese music video Nura Pakhang (Eu e Tu), sung by Mangka Mayanglambam and Manuela Clã. Soma won the Best Actor Award - Female for her role Thoinu in the film Enakta Leiringei at the 11th Manipuri State Film Awards 2018.
