Sherlyn Chopra aka Angel was born on 11 February 1984 into a Christian family in Hyderabad, India. By profession, she is an actress, model, and singer. Her father George Amitabh Chopra was a doctor and her mother Susan Chopra is a housewife. She attended Stanley Girls High School, Hyderabad to complete her basic education. Later, she did her graduation from Saint Ann’s College for Women, Secunderabad. During her college days, she was crowned Miss Andhra in 1999.
She rolled in a few Bollywood films as she appeared in Time Pass(2005), Red Swastik(2007) and Game(2007). Sherlyn makes her debut in Telugu film A Film by Aravind(2005). She was also a contestant in a famous reality show Bigg Boss Season 3(2009). In 2012 she became a part of Playboy magazine. Later, she became the first Indian woman posing nude for the official Playboy magazine.
In 2013 she released her music single titled Bad Girl and also, she was seen as a lead role in Kamasutra 3D(2013) which was directed by Rupesh Paul. Sherlyn also appeared in the trailer which was released at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival. In June 2016 she told the media that she was not working on the project anymore but in 2017 she came up with a short film Maya which was directed, produced and written by Sherlyn Chopra.
