Saroj Pandey is an Indian politician and a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. She was born on June 22, 1968 (age 53 years), Bhilai, India. She is a Member of the Rajya Sabha since 2018. She did his study at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (1992–1993), Bhilai Mahila Mahavidyalaya. Her father’s name is Shri Shyamji Pandey and her mother’s name is Smt. Gulabi Devi Pandey.
Saroj Pandey started her political career at the local municipal level and rose to become the mayor of the small city of Durg – a position she retained for 10 years. She was spotted by the BJP for her middle-class background, good looks, and acceptability, and given a ticket for the assembly elections. She won the seat of MLA from Vaishali Nagar constituency in Chattisgarh in December 2008. When she won by a wide margin, the party gave her a ticket for the Lok Sabha election. Kumari Saroj Pandey is a popular youth and women leader. On 31st March 2013, Saroj Pandey was appointed as president of the BJP Mahila Morcha.
