In 2019, he was elected to 17th Lok Sabha from Kolhapur Constituency with which he was made a member of Standing Committee on Labour, member of Committee on Petitions, and member of Consultative Committee, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. He has also been President of Kolhapur District Co-operative Board, Chairman of Sadashivrao Mandlik Co-operative Sugar Factory, Hamidwada, Director of Kolhapur District Central Co-operative Bank, and Kolhapur District Milk Producers Association (Gokul), Secretary of Sai Shivray Education Society, Murgud, Trusty of Sadashivrao Mandlik Research Foundation, Hamidwada. Currently, he is working as a Chairman of DISHA Committee, Kolhapur, and chairman of Sadashivrao Mandlik Kagal Taluka Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. which is located in Hamidawda in Kolhapur district.
