Samantha Ruth Prabhu after marriage known as Samantha Akkineni was born on 28th April 1987 age 30 years in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She was born in a Christian Family, her father Joseph Prabhu is from Telugu background and mother Ninette Prabhu from a Malayali Background. She has two older brothers. She is very fluent in the Tamil Language. She attended Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School and did her graduation in commerce at Stella Maris College, Chennai.
She was first spotted by Ravi Varman while she was involved in Modelling. She got married to her love Naga Chaitanya on 6th October 2017. By profession, she is an Actor. She has been working in Telugu and Tamil film Industry. She has won many accolades. She also runs her own NGO, Pratyusha Support, she helps women and children get a good and Healthy life by providing them good medical care, she funds her NGO by the fee she gets from Endorsements, Product Launches, and Innaugrations. By the Government of Telangana, she has been appointed as the Ambassador for Telangana Handlooms.
