Jaggi Vasudev publicly known as Sadhguru is an Indian Author and Yogi was born on 3^rd September 1957 in Mysore, Karnataka, India. Vasudev was married to Vijaya Kumari, she unfortunately left the world in 1997. Jaggi was born in a very middle-class family, his mother was a homemaker and father was an ophthalmologist in Indian Railways.

He went to Demonstration School, Mysore, and Mahajana Pre-University College. Later on, he got enrolled in the University of Mysore to get his bachelor’s degree in English. Many people have questions that how he got into Spirituality and later on became Sadhguru. The answer is that at the age of 25, he was very much eager to know about spirituality and went to Chamundi Hill and sat on a rock where he experienced spirituality. After six weeks he hands over his business to his friend and traveled a lot to gain insight into his mystical experience. After sometime Jaggi decided to teach yoga to share his inner experience, he is also started writing books and became an author of several books. For his work in his field, he has been honored by many prestigious titles such as- Padma Vibhusan, Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar, and the list is endless.

Sadhguru runs an NGO named Isha Foundation and is a part of many notable works such as Inner Engineering, Dhyanalinga, Rally for Rivers, Linga Bhairavi, Adiyogi: The Source of Yoga and much more.
