Richa Chadda is an Indian actress who born on 18 December 1986 in Patna, Bihar. She works in Hindi films. His father owns a firm and her mother is a professor PGDAV College of Delhi University. Richa did her schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya and took a diploma in Social Communication Media from St. Stephen College, Delhi.
She began her career as a model. Then she moved to the theatre. She has performed in plays. Then she also received her training under Barry John. She first acted in the film as a supporting role Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! which was directed by Dibakar Banerjee. Then she appeared in the comedy film Benny and Babloo. The film got the positive reviews. In 2012, she played the role in film Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1. After that, she reprised her role in the sequel Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2. In 2013, she appeared in the film Fukrey as Lady Don Bholi Punjaban. The film was directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Then producer Anurag Kashyap produced an anthology film short titled ‘Epilogue’ in which Richa and Shrivastava played the role of a happy couple.
Richa next appeared as a supporting role of Raseela in the film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram – Leela. The film was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. After that, she appeared in her next film Tamanchey in 2014 in which she played a role of a criminal named Babu. In January 2016, she appeared in the film Chalk n Duster as a journalist. Later, she appeared in biographical social drama film Sarabjit in which she portrayed the role of Sukhpreet. In the year 2017, she acted the Indian Web Series Inside Edge. She played the lead character of struggling actress. In the same year, she reprised her role of Bholi Punjaban in the sequel film Fukrey Return of Fukrey. The film received many positive reviews and got huge commercial success and grossing more than 70 crores in 12 days.
