Ramesh Bidhuri started his political career with ABVP in 1983. He was appointed as the District Gen. Secretary Mehrauli district in the year 1996 and worked as the Pradesh Secretary of Dharm Yatra of Mahasangh. He has been District President BJP from 1997 to 2003 and Vice President BJP Delhi Pradesh from 2003 to 2008. In 16th Lok Sabha, he was a member of the Standing Committee on Urban Development, Standing Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Labour and Employment, National Social Security Board, and in the 17th Lok Sabha, he was a member of Advisory Council, Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes, Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas, General Purposes Committee, Lok Sabha and Consultative Committee, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. He did some Social and Cultural Activities as well as activities associated with N.G.O. Shiv Ashra and organized various Cultural programs and associated with health camps particularly concerning Health-related issues in old age people and many more.
