Ramdas Tadas is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha representing Wardha in the Maharashtra state of India. He was born on April 1, 1953 (age 68 years), in Deoli, India. He is a Member of the Lok Sabha since 2014. His father’s name is Shri Chandrabhanji Mahadev Tadas and his mother’s name is Smt. Kaushalya Tadas. He married Smt. Shobha Ramdas Tadas. Ramdas Tadas was the Chairperson of Deoli Municipal Council (1985-1987,1990-1995,1996-1998). He was a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council for two terms in 1994. He was a Director of State Transport Corporation, Maharashtra in 2007. He was a Member of the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and a Member of Standing Committee on Information Technology in 2014. He was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha after defeating Meghe Sagar Dattatraya of INC from Wardha constituency, Maharashtra in 2014. He was a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and a member of the Nationalist Congress Party. Later he moved to BJP in 2009 and contested the Deoli Assembly seat of Maharashtra and lost by Ranjit Kamble. He was Vice President of Bhartiya Janata Party Maharashtra State Unit with President and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from the Wardha constituency as BJP /NDA candidate.
