Ram Kumar Verma is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Social Worker, and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), the upper house of the Indian Parliament from the state of Rajasthan. He was born 7 August 1955 (age 66 years according to 2021) in Gad-dubbee, Distt. Dausa (Rajasthan), India. His father’s name is Late Shri Chandu Lal and his mother’s name is Shrimati Pooni Devi. He did his schooling from Government Senior Secondary School (Rajasthan Board) and his educational qualification is B.A. and M.A. (Economics) from Government College, Rajgarh, Alwar, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and R.R. Government College, Alwar, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Kesar Verma on 21 May 1972 and has three children two sons and one daughter.
Ram Kumar Verma was first served as Clerk and Manager in the R.B.I., Jaipur, 1980 to August 2015. After that, he joined politics and started his political career as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was first elected to the Rajya Sabha from the state of Rajasthan in 2016. Currently, he is serving as a member of Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, member of Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment since 2016, member of Committee on Petitions since 2018, member of Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises since 2019 and Permanent Special Invitee of Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Railways.
