Ram Chander Jangra is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Agriculture, Business, Social Worker and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), the upper house of the Indian Parliament from the state of Haryana. He was born on 8 May 1950 (age 71 years according to 2021) in Rohtak (Haryana), India. His father’s name is Shri Chandu Lal and his mother’s name is Shrimati Khazano Devi. His educational qualification is Graduate Educated at Govt. College, Rohtak, Haryana. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Kamlesh Devi on 2 May 1974 and has three children two sons and one daughter.
Shri Ram Chander Jangra started his career as he worked as an R.S.S. volunteer from 1967-to 1972. He was influenced by Late Shri Karpoori Thakur Ji in 1975 and worked under his guidance for the backward community for many years. He has been President of Jangid Brahmin Sabha from 1987 – 1991 and Chairman of Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections, Kalyan Nigam for 2015 – 2019. In 2020 he joined Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected to Rajya Sabha from the state of Haryana. Currently, he is serving as a member of the Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs, a member of Hindi Salahkar Samiti, Ministry of Women and Child Development, a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Social Justice, and Empowerment and a member of the Committee on Official Language.
