Rakul Preet Singh born in New Delhi, India on 10th October 1990 age 27 years. Currently, Rakul is living in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. By profession, she is an Actress and Model. Rakul belongs to a Punjabi Family, she attended Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan. She always has her interest in Mathematics and was an Excellent student, she did her degree in Mathematics from Jesus and Mary College in Delhi University. She has been a National Level player in Golf. She is a popular actress who made her screen presence in many Tamil, Kannada and Hindi movies. She always wanted to be a Model, she started modelling from her college days, she participated in Femina Miss India 2011, she came 5th in position, but destiny had some different plans for her, from movie Gill, she made her acting debut in 2009 in Kannada Cinema.
She made her debut in Telugu cinema with movie Keratam in 2011 and in the same year she also appeared in Tamil cinema with movie Thadaiyara Thaakka. She started winning audience’s heart with her beauty and acting talent, in 2013 she did a movie named Puthagam as Divya, in the same year Rakul did one more movie named Venkatadri Express as Prarthana for which she was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Telugu, after winning hearts in Tollywood, in 2014 she made her debut with a Hindi movie named Yaariyan as Saloni, but the movie was not able to impress audiences, as well as Rakul, was not also able to impress the audience, in the same year she did movies in Tamil and Telugu Languages as well, named as Yennamo Yedho as Nithya, in Rough as Nandhu, in Loukyam as Chandrakala, in Current Theega as Kavita, then in 2015, she did 3 movies named as Pandaga Chesko as Divya, in Kick 2 as Chaitra, in Bruce Lee- The Fighter as Riya.
For 2016 she did 3 movies named as Nannaku Prematho as Divyanka, in Saarainodu as Maha Lakshmi, in Dhruva as Ishika, for year 2017 she did 5 movies named as, in Winner as Sitara, in Rarandoi Veduka Chudham as Bhramarambha, in Jaya Janaki Nayaka as Janaki, in Spyder as Charlie/ Shalini, in both Telugu and Tamil Language, in Theran Athikaram Ondru as Priya, her upcoming movies for year 2018 are Aiyaary in Hindi Language, Vijay 62, Vijay 64 and Suriya 36, all in Tamil Language. She has been nominated for film Loukyam as Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Telugu cinema, also for movie Nannaku Prematho Rakul was again nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actress- Telugu cinema and also for SIIMA Award for Best Actress in Telugu language.
