Raju Srivastav is an Indian comedian and actor who born on 25 December 1963. He is often credited as Gajodhar or Raju Srivastav. He was born in the middle-class Kayasth family in Kanpur. His father Mr. Ramesh Chandra Srivastav who known as Balai Kaka was a poet. Raju Srivastav wanted to become a comedian since her childhood.
He began performing in stage shows in India and Abroad. He also launched a series of his audio and video CDs. He began his career by playing small roles in Bollywood films. He took part in the Rajshri films Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar and Bombay to Goa. Also, he appeared as a cum comedian in films like Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya. He entered in the comedy shows like The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He finished as second runner-up, subsequently took part in the spin-off.
Raju won the title of ‘The King of Comedy’ in The Great Indian Laughter Challenger- Champion. Instead of all this, he took part in the Television reality show Bigg Boss season 3. He was voted from the house on 4 December 2009 after staying for 2 months in the house, he took part in the comedy show named Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla. Raju took also part in the reality show Nach Baliye 6 along with his wife in 2013. The show was aired on channel Star Plus. He also worked in the show Comedy Nights with Kapil. He also appeared in the show named Mazaak Mazaak Mein a.k.a. Raju Srivastav nominated by Prime Minister Narender Modi for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Raju married to Shikha Srivastava. They have two childrens.
