Sindhutai Jadhav. His educational qualification is B.A. (II year) from Shri Shivaji College, Chikhili, Buldhana, Maharashtra. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He married Rajashri Jadhav on 01 Apr 1983 and has two children one son and one daughter. He loves to do Agriculture, Reading, and debating, etc in his free time. Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav started his political career as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for consecutive three terms (1995 – 2009). He was appointed as a State Minister for Sports of Youth Welfare & Irrigation, Govt. of Maharashtra for 1997-99. In 2009, he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from Buldhana (Maharashtra) Constituency and maintained his position in parliament for consecutive three terms (15th, 16th, and 17th Lok sabha). In 17th Lok sabha, he was made a member of House Committee, member of General Purposes Committee, Lok Sabha, member of Consultative Committee, Ministry of Labor and Employment, member of Parliamentary Committee on Official Languages, and appointed as a Chairperson of Standing Committee on Rural Development.
