Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose is an Indian politician. He was born on August 8, 1950 (age 71 years), Hasanabada, India. He is a Member of the Rajya Sabha since 2020. he has completed his Graduation (B.Sc) from V.S.M. College Ramachandrapuram, Andhra University Waltair.
Subhash started his political journey in 1970 with the Congress party and he was the Leader. In 1989, He was first elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Congress Party, Ramachandrapuram Constituency. In 2004, he contested as an Independent with Congress support and won as an MLA in Ramachandrapuram Constituency. In 2009, He became a third on behalf of MLA the Congress party, Ramachandrapuram Constituency. He was also Minister twice in the YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s cabinet and once in former chief minister Konijeti Rosaiah’s cabinet. In 2011, He resigned as an MLA from Ramachandrapuram as well as K. Rosaiah’s cabinet.
Subhash Chandra joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and was a member. From 2019-2020, He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy led cabinet and was also given the charge of Minister of Revenue, Registration, and Stamps. In 2019, He was an (MLC)Member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. He was elected to the Member of Parliament, the upper house of the Parliament of India from Andhra Pradesh in the 2020 Rajyasabha elections as a Member of the YSR Congress Party.
