Paoli Dam is an Indian actress who born on 4th October 1980. She was born in Kolkata to a Bengali family. Her father name is Amnol Dam and her mother name is Papiya Dam. She has a younger brother named Mainak. She did her schooling from Loreto School Bowbazar. She completed her graduation from Vidyasagar College, Kolkata and did her post-graduation from Rajabazar Science College, Kolkata. She is interested in theatres from an early age. In 2003, she started her career with the Bengali Television serial Jibon Niye Khela. Later, she worked in the serial Tithir Atithi, Tarpor Chand Uthlo, Sonar Harin and Jaya.
Paoli’s Bengali debut film Teen Yaari Katha in 2004. But due to some issues, it was not released until 2012. In 2006, her another Bengali film Agnipariksha released which was directed by Rabi Kinagi. Then 2007 to 2009, she gave her back to back Bengali hits including Tulkalam, I Love You and Hochheta Ki.
In the year 2009, she appeared in Bengali film Kaalbela directed by Gautam Ghose. In 2011, she appeared in film Chatrak which was directed by Sri Lankan Vimukthi Jayasundra.
In 2012, she worked in her first Hindi film Hate Story. Later she appeared in three Bengali Films Bedroom, Elar Char Adhyay and Teen Yaari Katha. Then she appeared in Mainal Bhaumik’s Family Album. The film was starring by Swastika Mukherjee. In 2014, she worked in the film Chaya Manush in which she portrayed Trisha. Then her next releases were the Drama film Sada Canvas. In 2015, she appeared in the film Anjan Das.
In 2014, she performed an item number in the comedy horror film Gang of Ghosts which was directed by Satish Kaushik. After that, she appeared in Hindi film Yaara Silly Silly.
