Pallavi Sharda is an Australian actress who born on 5 March 1988. She is a trained dancer in Bharat Natyam also. She was born in Perth, Australia. Both her parents are well educated. Her mother named Hema Sharda is the Director of South Asian Relations at the University of Western Australia) and father Nalin Kant Sharda is a Professor of Computer Science at Victoria University.
Pallavi came to the Melbourne when she is a toddler. She did her schooling from Lowther Hall in Essendon and completed her graduation in BA LLB & Diploma in Modern Language from the University of Melbourn. In the year 2010, she shifted in Mumbai with her Family.
Pallavi Sharda started her Bollywood career by playing a short role in the film ‘My Name Is Khan’. She was crowned as “Miss India Australia” at Sydney in March 2010. In the same year, she starred in the comedy-drama film ‘Dus Tola’ alongside the actor Manoj Bajpayee. In the year 2011 and 2012, she appeared as the lead actress of the theatrical musical “Taj Express” choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and directed by Shruti Merchant.
Pallavi Sharda made her first Australian film “Save Your Legs” which released in 2013. Then she starred in the movie ‘Besharam’ directed by Abhinav Kashyap. In this, she played a role of a girl whose car is stolen by the thieves. Later, she acted in the Bollywood film ‘Hawaizaada’ opposite of Ayushman Khurana and Mithun Chakraborty directed by Vibhu Puri which was released on 30 January 2015. The film was inspired by the true events of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade.
In 2016, she joined Sony ESPN’s team as their new face for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. Then, she appeared in her next Hollywood film ‘Lion’ alongside Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman. Then she starred in her next Bollywood film ‘Begum Jaan’ which was released in April 2017. Pallavi received several acclaims from the critics and audience for her portrayal Gulabo, a sex worker in rural Punjab.
After that, she appeared in the ABC Australia’s new drama ‘Pulse’. By this performance, she won ‘Rising Star Award’ by the casting guild of Australia.
