He is married to Dr. Preeti Soni on 12 May 2009 and has two children one son and one daughter named Yuvan Dangi & Katyayani Dangi.
Neeraj Dangi started his political career as a candidate for the Indian National Congress. He was appointed to the Youth Congress State President for 2004–2008. He is a General Secretary of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee in 2014.
