K. Navaskani started his political career as a candidate of the Indian Union Muslim League in 2011. After that, he was nominated for the post of State Official Advisor in IUML. He is one of those candidates who are elected first time in Lok sabha as he was elected to 17th Lok Sabha from Ramanathapuram constituency against BJP and won by a margin of 126281 Votes with which he became a member of Standing Committee on Labour, Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Shipping. He is also part of social and cultural activities as he is providing scholarships for the students who are getting state-level ranks, providing educational assistance for the financially backward students, Not only restricting to Chennai - his organization was the only company to deliver freely of all essential products to the general public affected in Kerala natural disaster and many more.
