Mausam Benazir Noor is an Indian politician serving as a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from West Bengal. She was born on October 15, 1979 (age 42 years), in Kolkata, India. She is a Member of the Rajya Sabha since 2020. She did her study at the University of Calcutta, La Martiniere Calcutta. Her father’s name is Late Shri Syed Mohammad Noor and her mother’s name is Late Smt. Rubi Noor. She married Mirza Kayesh Begg.
She worked at the legal firm Fox and Mandal and practiced as a full-time lawyer in the Supreme Court of India for two years before entering politics. She has Elected to 15th Lok Sabha from Maldaha Uttar after defeating CPM's Sailen Sarkar with 60141 votes in 2009. She has been Re-elected to 16th Lok Sabha (2nd term) from Maldaha Uttar after defeating CPM's Khagen Murmu with a margin of 65,705 votes in 2014. Noor was nominated for the Rajya Sabha election from West Bengal by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee in 2020. Noor was the Ex-President, West Bengal Pradesh Youth Congress Committee.
