Mansukh Mandaviya is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemical and Fertilizers of India. His full name is Mansukh Laxmanbhai Mandaviya. He was born on June 1, 1972 (age 49 years), in Bhavnagar, India. He is a union minister for Health & Family Welfare of India since 2021. He did his study at Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. His father’s name is Shri Laxman Bhai and his mother’s name is Shrimati Shamuben. He married Shrimati Geeta Ben.
He contested and won the Palitana assembly seat and defeated INC candidate Vegad Karshanbhai by a margin of 2416 votes in 2002. He was a Member of, Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas in 2012. He was elected to Rajya Sabha in 2012. He was a member of, National Welfare Board for Seafarers and a Member of, Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers in 2014. He was inducted into Modi's cabinet as MoS (independent charge) of the ministry of shipping; and Mos in the ministry of chemicals and fertilizers in 2019. Mansukh Mandaviya was promoted to the cabinet rank and appointed as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare as Prime Minister Modi reshuffled his cabinet on July 7, 2021.
