Manoj Kumar Tiwari is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Film Artist, Singer, social worker, and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from North East Delhi (NCT of Delhi) Constituency. He was born on 1 February 1971 (age 50 years according to 2021) in Kabir Chaura, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father’s name is Late Shri Chandradeo Tiwari and his mother’s name is Smt. Lalita Kunwar. His educational qualification is M.P.Ed. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is Divorcee and has two children. He loves to play Cricket, Sing, and Acting.
Manoj Kumar Tiwari started his career as a singer and an actor in the Bhojpuri film industry. He made his debut with the movie Sasura Bada Paisawala in 2004 and his debut on television with the show Chak De Bachche in 2008. He has been worked on more than 20 Bhojpuri films. He has also sung a blockbuster song named "Jiya Ho Bihar Ke Lala Jiya Tu Haazar Sala". He started his political career as a candidate of the Samajwadi Party later in 2013, he joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was first elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from North East Delhi constituency in 2014 and re-elected to 17th Lok Sabha (2nd term) in 2019 from the same constituency with which he was made a member of Standing Committee on External Affairs, member of Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture member of Consultative Committee, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and member of Committee on Petitions. He has also been appointed to the President of Delhi state BJP for 2016-20.
