Manjari Fadnis is an Indian actress. She was born in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. She belongs to a Maharashtrian family. Her father ‘Bharat Kumar Fadnis’ was in the Indian Army and her mother ‘Ruchi Fadnis is a homemaker. Manjari grew up in Shimla, Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.
Manjari Fadnis first came to the television screen during the second season of Indian singing reality show Popstar on channel V in 2003.
She made her film debut “Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo” in the year 2004. In the year 2008, she gave the biggest hit to Bollywood “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. She played the role of the girlfriend of the lead actor. Through this role, she won the Standard Award for Precious Performance Female 2009. Then she became the part of National Film Award and winning Bengali featured film Mumbai Salsa and Faltu. In 2008, she appeared in the film Muthirai in Tamil which was released in 2009. In the same year, she had sung a song for the movie Muthirai under the direction of Yuvan Shankar Raja. In 2009, she appeared in a series of Onida television commercial.
In the year 2010, she came in two Telugu films ‘Inkosaari’ and ‘Shubhapradham’ and a Hindi film ‘I am 24’. Then she acted in the Walt Disney produced superhero film ‘Zokkomon’. The film was hit in the box office. After that, she played a role in Telugu film ‘Shakti’. Then she appeared in the film ‘Mr. Fraud’ in Malayalam. In the year 2015, she played a role of Kapil Sharma’s wife in the ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyar Karu’. The film had a great success at the box office. Then she started work in the driven film ‘Wah Taj’ (2016) in which she did a popular semi-folk dance on the song Chori Chichori. After that, she appeared in Marathi Film Sarv Mangal Savdhan.
In the year 2017, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Short Film People’s Choice Award for her short film Khamakha (2016). Another short film of her The Morning After (2013) and Cot (2017).
