The singer took birth on 26th August 1997 in Godavarikhani. She is known for her folk songs in Telangana. Her father name is Peddinti Mallesh and her mother is Sujatha. Madhu family moved to Hyderabad when she was young. Since childhood, Madhu Priya had a keen interest in singing. Priya came into limelight when she participated in Star Maa Super Singer show. Priya gave several unforgettable songs. With her song Adapillanamma Nenu Adapilanani, the singer became popular on Telugu television.

Priya made her debut in singing from the movie Fidaa. Her song ‘Vachinde’ from film Fidaa has more than 20 million views on YouTube and is amongst the fastest growing song in the Telugu language.
