He loves to do Ghazal, Hindustani and Carnatic Vocal.
M. P. Abdussamad Samadani started his political career as a Member of Zila Parishad in 1991-1994. After that, he was elected to the member of Rajya Sabha for two terms (1994-2006). He has been a Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 2011-2016.
