Usha Kumari on 09 Sep 1987 and has three children one son and three daughters. He loves to List to Music, Read, Upliftment of rural women and youth.
M. K. Raghavan started his political career when he joined Indian National Congress (INC). He was first elected to 15th Lok Sabha from Kozhikode Lok Sabha constituency of Kerala and re-elected to 16th Lok Sabha (2nd term) and 17th Lok Sabha (3rd term) from the same constituency. In 17th Lok sabha, he was made a member of the Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas, Committee on Government Assurances, and Consultative Committee for Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. He is part of social and cultural activities as he is founded the first Govt. aided Arts and Sciences College in the co-operative sector in India, started 27 de-fibering units in the Co-operative Sector in rural areas of Kannur and Kasargod Districts of Kerala, started many co-operative institutions which led to the generation of ample employment opportunities for the rural youth & especially women and many more. He is also Chairman of Food Corporation of India, Kerala, and a Member of the Silk Board
