His father’s name is Late Maharaja Okendrajit and his mother’s name is Late Maharani Tampha Leima. His educational qualification is B.A. (English Hons.) from Maharaja Bodhchandra College, Imphal, Manipur. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Haobam Anamika Devi on 22 June 1998 and has two children one son and one daughter. He loves to do reading books, sing, play tabla and dholki, tell stories/tales to the young ones, and has been traveling to Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, etc.
