Krishan Pal Gurjar is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Social Worker, Agriculturist, and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Faridabad (Haryana) Constituency. He was born on 4 February 1957 (age 64 years according to 2021) in Mewla Maharajpur, Faridabad, Haryana, India. His father’s name is Shri Hans Raj and his mother’s name is Smt. Sunhero Devi. His educational qualification is B.A. from Govt. College, Faridabad, M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana, and LL.B. from M.M.H. College, (Chaudhary Charan Singh University), Uttar Pradesh. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He married Nirmala Devi on 07 May 1975 and has one son.
Krishan Pal Gurjar started his political career when he joined Bharatiya Janata Party and won the Corporation Councilor election in 1994. In 1996, he became the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Haryana for Mewla Maharajpur constituency for two terms (1996 – 2005) and was re-elected to the same position for 2009 – 2014. In between, he was appointed as a Transport Minister of Govt. of Haryana for 1996 – 1999. In 2009, he was made President of Haryana State, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In 2014, he has elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from Faridabad (Haryana) Constituency and was re-elected to 17th Lok Sabha (2nd term) from the same Constituency. He has been worked at the position of Union Minister of State of Ministries of Road Transport and Highways and Shipping in 2014 and Union Minister of State of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for 2014-2019. Currently, he is appointed as a Union Minister of State of Ministry of Power and Union Minister of State of Ministry of Heavy Industries since 2021.
