He did his schooling from Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi.  Did his higher studies from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, then from Delhi School of Economics, New Delhi and then from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Ajwani did his graduation in Electronics Engineering in 1991, and began working with the “Punsumi India Limited” as an Ageing and Testing Engineer and worked there till 1993. In the same year, Kishore started working as an International Marketing Manager with Exclusive Handicrafts, where he worked for next one year. After completing his Post Graduation from MUDRA INSTITUTE OF COMMUNICATIONS, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, he joined Leo Burnett, a globally active American Advertising Company in 1997, worked there for next three years. After this, he also worked with DD Sports as an Anchor from the year 2000 to 2001. In 2001, Ajwani started working as a Deputy Executive Producer with the Zee News and worked there until 2008. He also hosted the show called “Badi Khabar” for the channel. Ajwani began working for ABP News, which was formerly known as Star News, in 2008 as an anchor and stepped down in June 2016. He quit ABP News in July 2016 and started working with IBN7, a TV18 owned Hindi News Channel, as a Deputy Managing Director. The Channel launched a new show “ SAU BAAT KI EK BAAT” with Kishore in just two months of joining. Ajwani likes movies such as Sholay, Johnny Gaddar, Chashme Badoor, Shree 420, favourite writers are Sharad Joshi, Munshi Premchand, P.G. Wodehouse. He his married person and has one son named Zuber Ajwani.
