His educational qualification is M.Sc. (Geology) from Lucknow University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He married Smt. Madhushree Singh on 16 Nov 2002 and has one daughter. He loves reading, photography, painting, wildlife and Eco-tourism, and aero-modeling.
