Kirodi Lal Meena is a famous Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Agriculturist, Medical Practitioner, Social Worker, and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), the upper house of the Indian Parliament from the state of Rajasthan. He was born on 3 November 1951 (age 69 years according to 2021) in Village – Khohra, Dausa (Rajasthan), India. His father’s name is Late Shri Manohar Lal Meena and his mother’s name is Shrimati Foola Devi. His educational qualification is M.B.B.S. from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner (Rajasthan). His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Golma Devi on 3 March 1961.
Kirodi Lal Meena started his political career at an early age as he is actively associated with R.S.S. right from student life. He was first elected to the State Secretary of Rajasthan, BJP for 1985-86. He has been a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for 1985-88 from Mahuwa constituency, for 1998-2003 from Bauman was constituency, 2003-2008, 2008-2009, and 2013 (five terms). In 1989, he was elected to the Ninth Lok Sabha from Sawai Madhopur and re-elected to Fifteenth Lok Sabha from Dausa constituency for 2009-2014. He has been appointed to the Cabinet Minister of Food and Civil Supply, Government of Rajasthan for 2003-2007. In 2018, he was elected to Rajya Sabha from the state of Rajasthan. Currently, he is serving as a member of the Committee on Water Resources, member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
