Kannoth Muraleedharan is an Indian National Congress politician from Kerala. He was born May 14, 1957 (age 64 years), Thrissur, India. He is a member of the Lok Sabha since 2019. His father’s name is Karunakaran and his mother’s name is Kannoth Kalyan. He married Jyothi. He has two children whose name is Arun Narayanan, Sabari Nath.
He has elected to the 9th Lok Sabha from Calicut in 1989. He was a member of, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies 1990. He was re-elected to 10th Lok Sabha from Calicut and Member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism in 1991. He was re-elected to 13th Lok Sabha from Calicut and Member, Committee on Energy in 1999. In February 2004, Muraleedharan was appointed as Minister of Power in the A. K. Antony Ministry, though he was not a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. He was elected as the Chairman of the KPCC Campaign committee in September 2018. He entered 17-the Lok Sabha by winning from the Vatakara in the 2019 general elections. In 2019 He was elected as MP from Vadakara.
