Her educational qualification is M.B.B.S., M.S. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, and Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai. Her religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. She has two children one son and one daughter.
Dr. Kanimozhi NVN Somu started her as a well-qualified doctor. She is interested in publishing medical related papers, Laparoscopic Surgeon, presented a paper on 'Serum B-HCG as a predictor of VIH in Pregnancy' at Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu presented a paper on 'Multi-Organ Dysfunction Failure – As a multidisciplinary approach' at Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu, management of high-risk pregnancies.
