His father’s name is Shri Chakradhara Rao and his mother’s name is Shrimati Basava Purnamma. His educational qualification is B.Com., B.L., M.A.(Philosophy), M.L.(Contracts) from Siddartha Arts College and A.C. College of Law (Acharya Nagarjuna University), Osmania University, Hyderabad and Annamalai University. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, India. He married Shrimati Usha Rani and has one son.
Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar started his political career as a candidate of the Telugu Desam Party. He was first elected to the Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament from Arunachal Pradesh in 2018.
