His father’s name is Shri Baboolal Soni and his mother’s name is Shrimati Girjabai Soni. His educational qualification is B.A., LL.B. from Sagar University, MGM Kareli and Jabalpur University, NES Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Manju Soni on 19 November 1979.
Kailash Soni was first an advocate as he has been Director of Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation for 2004-2007, President of District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh) for 2006-2013, Vice-President of State Cooperative Bank (Apex Bank), Madhya Pradesh for 2006-2012 and National President of Loktantra Senani Sangh. After that, he joined politics as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2018, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha from the state of Madhya Pradesh with which he is serving as a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Food Processing and member of Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Defence.
