Johnny Lever is an Indian actor and a comedian in Hindi Cinema who born on 14 August 1957. He was born to a Telugu Christian family. He was born to a father Prakash Rao Janumala and a mother Karunamma Janumala in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh. He did his schooling from Andhra Education Society English High School. Due to some financial problems, he stopped his study after the seventh standard. He decided to do some odd jobs like selling pens in the street of Mumbai. In his childhood, he spent his few years in Yakutpura, Hyderabad where he studied the different type of comedy acting. He mimicked a few senior officers during a Hindustan Lever Limited company function. Then he joined the film industry. He started his career by musical shows. After that, he joined the group of Kalyanji- Anandji which was a legendary music direction duo. In 1982, he did a big tour with Amitabh Bachchan. During a show, Sunil Dutt (actor) noticed his talent and he offered him his first film Dard Ka Rishta. He also recorded few comedy cassettes like Hasi Ke Hungame. He did his film debut by the film Tum Par Hum Qurban. He worked in more than 500 films including Dard Ka Rishta, Kasam, Tezaab, Khatarnak, Kishen Kanhaiya, Jalwa, Baazigar, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Dilbar, Raja Hindustani, Entertainment, Dilwale, Judwaa 2, Golmaal Again and so on. Johnny Lever is one of the best Comedians in India. He won thirteen Filmfare Awards for Best Performance in Comic Role. Johnny Lever also worked in few Television shows like Zabaan Sambhalke (1993), Johnny Aala Re and Comedy Circus. Johnny Lever married to Sujatha. The couple has two children a daughter Jamie and a son Jesse. His daughter also a comedian.
