    I had deposited a cheque bearing No.558922 dt, 09.09.16 amounting to Rs. 1,05,940/- issued by SBOP, TRY Branch, Patiala in the IDBI Branch, 10, Chhoti Baradari, Patiala on 09.09.2016 which was returned to me on 14.09.16 through courier with the remarks "kindly contact Drawer/Drawee Bank and please present again". While going through the crux of memo I noticed that the cheque was presented for clearing for Rs.1,05,490 instead of Rs. 1,05,940. I presented the cheque again which has again delivered to me with the remarks"Item listed twice". In this funny process and irregularities of IDBI staff, all my purposes have been defeated and I have to pay penalty to my clients to whom I had to pay the amount.     Pathetic service in Home Loan Customer care - Hyderabad - Mr. Pavan Dear Sir, My name is Vikram Kasibhatla, Hyderabad. I have availed home loan (Loan account no. 811675100118392) from IDBI Bank in 2006 and paying home loan since more than 11 years and without any cheque bounce since 11 years. I am really upset and unsatisfied with your Home loan customer care executive Mr. Pavan. I had visited your branch at Basheerbagh branch on 22nd June 2017 for rate conversion, I had visited branch around 04:05 pm and approached Mr. Pavan for rate conversion and additional topup loan, I stunned and shocked for the first response from Mr. Pavan “ have you not seen office timings board outside and who sent you inside ?? ” literally I had no clue how to respond after me coming in the branch in hot summer and struggling to park my car somewhere half km away from the branch as there is no parking near the branch, I requested and told the purpose of my visit, he didn’t even have basic courtesy to offer me a chair to sit, after 15 minutes he noticed me and said network is not working and he cannot provide any infomation, I told him that I came from very long distance and do the needful, finally by god’s grace in fact Mr. Pavan’s grace he gave information on rate change and suggested me to wait for another three days so that new rate will be applicable i.e. from 8.7 to 8.5% and informed me that he will inform me over the phone, I didn’t get any call since that day, I tried calling him so many times but he never attended my call. Again I had visited branch on July 4th and asked him the status, Mr. Pavan said now rate is reduced to 8.5 from 8.7% and he said there will be some 4-5 EMIs difference if I change the rate by paying 0.05% of principle outstanding amount, I accepted and gave debit mandate and he informed that he is processing my request and new rate will be applicable from August 2017, he said that he will inform me once new rate is executed, but no information from Mr. Pavan, I called him again on 4th August to find out the status of rate conversion of my home loan, fortunately he picked up my call and recollected me with great difficult, and he informed that new rate not yet applied and asked me to wait for two more days as new rate is going to come after RBI repo rate etc.., but no information since then. By profession I travel and visiting your branch is not possible for me, I tried to reach Mr. Pavan many times but no use. One Mr. Laxmikant Reddy (sales executive I suppose) suppose to come and collect topup loan documents but he didn’t turned up since two month. Today (22/08/2017) I had called Mr. Laxmikant Reddy from different number and requested him on rate change status, he said he has no clue and gave phone to Mr. Pavan, to my surprise as per Mr. Pavan new rate not applied on my home loan and there is no reduction of rate as he promised on 4th August, and he said its in the processing and he has no clue whether new rate will be applicable from September EMI also and he was asking me to visit branch don’t know why?? and Mr. Pavan disconnected phone abruptly without giving proper information. I really wonder that IDBI Bank has such unprofessional customer care executives like Mr. Pavan, I never expected this kind of response and service after paying lacks of rupees interest since 11 years, I am sure IDBI bank will lose its brand value in the market if you have such unprofessional executives like Mr. Pavan and Lakshmikanth Reddy. I request you to take appropriate action on such unprofessional fellows and process my rate conversion request immediately and pay the interest loss incurred in last two months because of the delay in rate conversion process from the bank side, else I have no option other than approaching and file a case in consumer forum and banking ombudsman.

Its really very embarassing to inform that IDBI Channels have lot of technical issues..Even if the transactions are not successful you people debit the money from the account and give us assurance that it will be debited withinh 48hrs..Why taking of so long time for so, small issues.No,other banks take so, long to resolve any issue..It is 3 rd time i am facing such a issue..Even you are not able to get to proper reason..If you are facing issues with the net banking and phone banking..kindly dont give that services option..
