He came into the office on 15th August 1947 and was in the post for one year. He also lends his services as the leader of Indian National Congress from Madras Presidency. Kailash Nath Katju, Harendra Coomar Mookerjee, Padmaja Naidu, Dharma Vira, Deep Narayan Sinha, Shanti Swaroop Dhavan, Anthony Lancelot Dias, Tribhuvana Narayana Singh, Bhairab Dutt Pande, Anant Prasad Sharma, Satish Chandra, Uma Shankar Dikshit, Saiyid Nurul Hasan, T. V. Rajeswar, B. Satyanarayan Reddy, K. V. Raghunatha Reddy and few more were the governors of West Bengal after Chakravarthi Rajagopalachari. Keshari Nath Tripathi took the oath for Governor of West Bengal as the 26th Governor and joined the office on 24th July 2014.Previously he was the Speaker of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and was also the President of Bharatiya Janta Party (Uttar Pradesh)

WITH DUE RESPECT WE THE COMMON PEOPLE OF SAMSI BYPASS ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE REGARDING LAND ACQUISITION. IN THE YEAR 2016 .I MARCH 2016 DATED 5 WE BY A NEWS PAPER ARE NOTIFIED A LAND ACQUISITION FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF NH BYPASS IN SAMSI , MALDAH,WEST BENGAL WHICH LIES IN NH 81. WE REPRESENTED BEFORE THE DM REGARDING NOT TAKING OUR LAND . LATER WE ARE BEING NOTICED AND WE ARE CALLED FOR HEARING IN CHANCHAL BOLCK . THEN WE THE COMMON PEOPLE CREATED A COMMIITEE AND DECIDED TO GIVE OUR LAND FOR BYPASS CONSTRUCTION . LATER WITH TIME DIFFERENT OFFICERS MEASURED OUR LAND AND BUILDING AND WE ARE NOTIFIED FOR FINAL HEARING IN MALATIPUR BLOCKI DECEMBER 2016 IN COMMUNITY HALL AND WE AGREED TO GOVT POLICIES AND WITH PROPER CO OPERATION WE HANDED OUR LAND TO THE AUTHORITY . WITHIN 1 MONTH BY A LOCAL NEWS PAPER WE CAME TO KNOW THAT OUR LAND HAS BEEN ACQUIRED AND WE WILL BE AWARDED WITH IN 30 DAYS BUT WITH LONG TIME SPAN OF MORE THAN SIX MONTHS .BUT WE ARE NOT GETTING OUR LEGITIMATE COMPENSATION AFTER GIVING OUR LAND FOR DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COUNTRY . WHERE THERE IS A LAND PROBLEM EVERYWHERE THAT PEOPLE ARE NOT GIVING LAND FOR ROAD DEVELOPMENT WE CO OPERATED WITH GOVT AND WE ARE PUNISHED THROUGH NOT GETTING COMPENSATION AFTER GIVING LAND. SO WE THE COMMON PEOPLE OF SAMSI BYPASS ARE REQUESTING U TO LOOK AFTER THE MATTER AND WE HUMBLY SEEK UR HELP IN GETTING OUR FUNDAMENTAL AWARD REGARDING LAND LOOSING. SO THAT IN NEAR FUTURE PEOPLE DOSENT GET DEMORALISED TO GIVE LAND TO NH FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD WAYS, WE SEEK UR HELP FOR BUILDING BETTER INDIA.
