GoAir was founded in 2005 by Jehangir Wadia. He is the younger son of Industrialist Nusli Wadia. It is an Indian low-cost barrier with headquartered in Mumbai. GoAir focussed cities are Kempegowda International Airports (Bangalore) and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (Ahmedabad).

    My experience with go air has always been pathetic. Not once not twice. My first experienced was when I reached airport 50 min early, they denied to check me in bcuz their check in counter is closed and asked me to book another flight (which i did bcuz I had no choice) second was when the flight got delayed by 30 min, I noticed the boarding was delayed. Third when my return ticket got cancelled. I tried to call them up like literally thousand times but damn nobody responds. I have no clue why have they given customer care’s number in website bcuz the calls does not get connected. I tried to call their head office as well but no damn response.. It is very very frustrating when a hospitality industry who claims to be truly yours (customer’s) takes customer for granted.
    It’s pathetic… Now I have no other choice than rebooking. Bcuz geting in touch with them seems impossible to me. And like everybody says in above mentioned feedback refund also looks impossible now… According to my experience with go air. I truly feel like all they care about is money and only money that’s it which is great but please don’t seem yourself as truly yours (customer’s)

    Dear Go Air Team,
    I have requested for refund for flight cancelletion by Go Air on 15th July 2017 for travel on 1st September 2017 and return on 3rd September 2017, My booking reference is K4SSH1and till date not received the refund. Inspite of sending many reminders to refund, nodal officer and reservations mail ids and talking to customer care many times, till date there is no response or status on the refund. Request you to do the needful for effecting refund without further delay. It is really disappionting that Go Air personnel are very lathargic, non-responsive and taking customers for granted.

    Expecting your response and refund as soon as possible.

    Sub : Refund of tickets charges due to cancellation at your end. Pending over two months.

    I had booked a flight online, through Yarta website, bearing yatra reference number 1701724119693, details of which, we give below :

    Date of Travel :04.02.2017
    Sector of Travel : Goa-Mumbai
    Arlines and Flight No. Goair,G8372
    Departure time from Goa : 15.20 hours
    PNR : I2TZCL
    Net Fare paid thru Credit Card: 3096/-

    I received an SMS from the airlines on the 4th morning that, the above flight is cancelled and the Airlines will refund the total amount of Rs. 3096/-. This flight was canclled at the last moment for which we had to book another flight at the last minute at much higher cost. We regret to inform that, the flight payment made through our credit card is not refunded till date.

    We had tried to talk to several officials of the airlines but nonce could give a clear answer.

    We seek your urgent attention or else we have to lodge a complaint in the Consumer court and also go the the press and media to report such lapses from you.

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    It pains for me to inform the details below;

    1. I made a booking today at 7.53 pm for Jammu to Bangalore sector.
    2. By mistake I made a booking for your 14.30 flight instead of 16.00 hrs
    3. I realized this in 10 mins and tried to modify the flight to 16.00 hrs. Since the modification was not trying to happen, I thought I’ll cancel and re-book again. I never expected my cancellation amount will be Rs. 4,450/-, whereas my total booking cost was Rs. 5,321/-. Its unfair that the cancellation charges are so high, and moreover when I am cancelling the booking at least a highlight should come that this much of amount will be charged and should I go ahead in cancelling or not. It directly went and cancel. Had I known the cancelation amount was so high, probably I wouldn’t have cancelled the fight, coz a two and half hours early would not have mattered, instead of paying such huge cancellation amount.
    4. Now my request is, if this same booking can be retrieved and maintained without any additional changes or charges. Or charge a small amount of at least 250 per person for the cancellation, so that I can rebook for the 16.00 hrs flight. In a matter of 10-15 mins of my mistake consciously or unconsciously, I have to pay a heavy price. Please please re-consider my request.
